The Way We Work
Accountancy and Taxation Services
Our Aim
Initially we need to establish the work that we will undertake on your behalf and identify with you the areas of
the assignment that we will be responsible for. In some circumstances we may also need to establish your areas of responsibility,
e.g. if we are assisting in the preparation of a VAT return we would need agreed dates when we receive prime records from you
in order that we can complete the VAT return in the required time frame, avoiding Inland Revenue penalties.
Once we have had experience of working with you, we can work proactively by suggesting ways that the procedures can be
streamlined so that we do more, or less, of the work, depending on your circumstances.
It is by operating in this way we can jointly establish an optimum way of dealing with the assignment in a cost effective manner.
Some clients prefer to take a more 'hands on' approach in which case our role is contained to that of providing an analytical
review of the procedures and results. Other clients prefer us to provide a full and complete service so that they can concentrate
fully on running their business.
Conclusion
In addition to the above we can then analyse and summarise the information obtained and then pro-actively advise you accordingly.
This could take the form of, for example, if you are a sole trader, explain the advantages and the disadvantages in your circumstances
of transferring the business to a limited company.
We therefore need to work closely with you in order to understand your goals and to develop the optimum way of achieving the above
objectives, together with developing future suitable strategies with you.
