CREATING A PROPOSAL FOR YOU
Your business is unique which is why we take the time to create a bespoke and competitive
proposal for you that protects you as far as possible from ‘surprise’ bills throughout the year.
There is no charge for changing from your current accountant to Culverhouse & Co. Our proposal purely covers fees going forward from the date of appointment. Here we provide some more information about how we do this:
VIEWING YOUR STATUTORY ACCOUNTS
During our initial meeting, we will ask you to provide your Statutory Accounts (these are the ones you submit to HMRC).

ACCESSING YOUR ELECTRONIC RECORDS
If you are using a cloud-based platform, we will request that you provide us with a ‘read only’ login so we can view your Accounts. Alternatively, if you are using a desktop package we would ask that you email us a backup file.
Or, if you prefer, one of our accountants can visit your premises and review your financial
statements there.

WHY DO WE REQUEST TO SEE THIS INFORMATION?
It helps us to understand your business and its requirements, allowing us to create a quotation tailored to its specific needs. If you chose to share your financial statements with us at this point, you are under no obligation to engage with Culverhouse & Co.
Rest assured that, even when working with a company at the proposal stage, we are bound by the ethical guidelines of our professional body, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and all your records are treated in the strictest of confidence.
