MAKING TAX DIGITAL

Businesses above the VAT threshold of £85,000 are required to keep digital records for tax purposes and file tax returns quarterly, under the HMRC’s ‘Making Tax Digital’ (MTD) scheme (which was rolled-out in April 2019).

Culverhouse & Co have already helped many of our clients 'go digital'.

Our experienced team can assist you in selecting the most relevant HMRC-compliant software for your business, get it up and running, enter back dated information and ensure that you have the right templates and systems set up.

Following implementation we will work closely with you to analyse business performance in 'real time' and help you respond in a timely manner.

Dave Knight, Director at Culverhouse & Co, has been working with many of our clients on MTD.  He comments “As with any change, companies find it a little daunting at first, but the benefits are soon apparent and include: being able to view your tax situation and liabilities in real time, the ability to plan and budget more efficiently as well as saving time and hassle as all your company’s information is available at the touch of a button”.

How have businesses found the move to digital tax?
